How do I consign items to Cooper Barrington?
Bring items to our saleroom at The Old Methodist Chapel, Froncysyllte, for a free walk-in valuation (Monday–Friday, 10am–4pm). Alternatively, email photographs to cooperbarringtonllp@gmail.com. For larger collections or house clearances, call 01691 774567 or 07842 401289 to arrange collection.
What does it cost to sell at Cooper Barrington?

The premium is the same rate for both buyer and seller, deducted from the hammer price. The entry fee for Antiques & Collectables covers cataloguing, photography and lotting.
How long before I receive payment after my item sells?
Vendor payouts are made 21 days after the auction by bank transfer (preferred). If you require a cheque, a £4.00 issuance fee applies. Please ensure we have your bank details on file.
What happens if my item doesn’t sell?
You will be notified in writing. Unsold lots must be collected within 7 days of written request. After that, a storage charge of £2.50 per lot per day applies. We may also offer to re-enter the item into a future sale at an adjusted reserve.
Can I get a free valuation before consigning?
Yes — free walk-in pre-sale valuations every weekday, 10am–4pm. No appointment necessary. For referencing and appraisal there is a small fee of £5 per lot, but this is free if the items are subsequently offered for sale. Off-site verbal valuations (where items are not consigned) are charged at £40 per hour + VAT.
Do you collect items for auction?
Yes. We offer a full collection service across mainland UK with large vans and full insurance cover from the moment of loading. Call 01691 774567 to arrange.
