A Fine Art Nouveau Mahogany Salon Cabinet Display. Early 1900. In the style of Gillows having twin pagoda tops with fretted upstands below are twin doors with art nouveau stylized moldings opening to reveal triple shelves,the interiour lined with the original brocade lining. To the centre a bow fronted two door cabinet with carved and fretted upstand ,molded top over two doors enclosing a single shelf again lined in the original brocade. All raised on reeded legs linked with a shaped undershelf with matching pierced upstand and carved paw feet. Height 59.5 in, Width 66 in, Depth 16 inches.
